Community Build, Inc. (Community Build) is a non-profit community development corporation established in 1992 in response to the conditions that led to the Los Angeles Civil Unrest of 1992. The organization has provided education, training, employment, and other supportive services to over 50,000 youth and young adults; with emphasis in the past 20 years on outreach and services for at-risk youths, including out-of- school youth, foster youth, justice involved youth, gang-involved youth, and first-generation college bound youth and families.

 
 
 

 
 
 
 

Founded in 1993, The Greenlining Institute is a policy, research, organizing, and leadership institute working for racial and economic justice. The organization works on a variety of major policy issues, from the economy to environmental policy, health care and many others.  Headquartered in California, Greenlining’s approach focuses on bringing grassroots community leaders face to face with leading public and private sector leaders. They design and support policies designed to open doors to opportunity.
